Louisiana Rapper Young Ready Died In A Shooting On Tuesday (23jun15).
The 31 year old, real name Shannen Hudson, was killed in Bogalusa, Louisiana along with 28-year-old Jare Stevenson of nearby Baton Rouge.
Details of the shooting are scarce, but a representative from the Washington Parish Coroner's Office tells local news station WAFB that one victim died from a single gunshot wound, while the other died of multiple injuries.
Officials at the Bogalusa Police Department confirm the case is under investigation, but they have yet to identify a suspect.
Young Ready owned and operated his own record label, Bow Entertainment.
Kaleel Cain, Young Ready's social media promoter tells WAFB, "Ready's music was the voice of the streets of Louisiana and other areas. He will be truly missed."
