A Vancouver, Canada nightclub appearance scheduled to feature New York rapper NECRO descended into chaos on Saturday (21Mar09), when the star cancelled at the last minute - after keeping fans waiting for hours.
The MC, real name Ron Braunstein, was scheduled to play a set at Richards on Richards nightclub at the weekend as part of an event held by Abort magazine.
The crowd grew restless when Necro's appearance seemed less and less likely - and fans turned violent when promoters announced the rapper had been forced to reschedule the show due to travel delays.
Police were called to the club when people began to throw bottles, chairs and tables at the stage and at the venue's DJ.
A representative for Necro could not be reached for comment as WENN went to press.
