Hip-hop veteran Kid Frost was hospitalised on Wednesday (12Oct11) after suffering a mild stroke.
The rapper, also known as just Frost, claims his diabetes brought on the stroke, which left him needing medical attention at the Methodist Hospital of Southern California.
He posted pictures from his hospital bed on Twitter.com and wrote, "I'm warning all of my homies with diabetes take care of yourself. I just suffered a stroke and landed in Icu at Methodist."
The 47 year old told fans he had undergone various tests, adding, "Hospital update - test ultrasound neuro-mri scatscans physical therapy speech etc having a stroke is no joke. Test are all coming out good and a wake up call to hit the gym and get in a few more rounds of golf excercise (sic) to keep fit is order of day."
