Randy Quaid $50,000 Arrest Warrant Issued After Court No Show

The couple were due to appear in court on Monday 18th October 2010 but failed to attend, and will be called again for a hearing on October 26th 2010. Police arrested the Quaids' at a home in California last month, on suspicion that they were they illegally living in the guest house of the home they had previously owned. A representative of the property had phoned the Santa Barbara's County Sherriff's deputy to report that the pair were living at the premises without permission. When the authorities arrived at the scene, they found 59-year-old Quaid and his wife insisting that they had owned the house since the 1990's.

Randy is the older brother of the Hollywood actor Dennis Quaid, and was nominated for a Golden Globe and an ACADEMY AWARD for his role in the 1973 movie 'The Last Detail'. However, he has become embroiled in a number of legal issues in recent years, and was arrested in 2009 for allegedly defrauding an innkeeper.
