Rammstein Release Was A Hoax

LATEST: German rockers RAMMSTEIN have responded to a hoax that fooled fans into thinking frontman TILL LINDEMANN had quit. In a statement reportedly issued by the band's management company on Monday (16Jul07), it was announced Tillemann had left the band and former KMFDM star En Esch was to take his place. But, on Tuesday (17Jul07), the band assured fans the press release was an elaborate hoax. A representative for the group says, "It is not true and was not released by either band or management. We have no idea where this comes from."
