Radiohead 'Have Lost The Plot'

by | 19 August 2008

Tad from US rockers THE HOLD STEADY has said he is not a fan of RADIOHEAD, claiming he doesn't "get it anymore".

The guitarist made his comments during an interview with BBC 6 Music, in which he also sang the praises of OASIS.

On Radiohead, Tad said: "I think they've lost the plot. What are they doing? Where are they going? What's happening? I don't get it any more.

"They lost me. I still appreciate what they're doing, or what they're trying to do. But I think they're trying too hard not to be Radiohead. That seems a little ridiculous to me".

However, being a committed rock n roller, he had more favourable comments about a certain Mancunian band.

"I love Oasis. I love them. I think that what they do is earnest. I think it's honest. When they get up and do what they do, it's one take and they get up and they perform..

The new OASIS album DIG OUT YOUR SOUL is released on October 6th.
