Former BBC Radio 1 Dj Chris Denning has been charged with 41 historical sex offences, including 34 counts of indecent assault.
The British disc jockey was first arrested in June (13) as part of Operation Yewtree, an investigation which was launched after late entertainer Sir Jimmy Savile was exposed as a serial paedophile.
Denning, 73, was charged with 41 sexual offences, including 34 counts of indecent assault, on Thursday (22May14). The charges relate to 22 male claimants who were aged from nine to 16 when the alleged attacks took place, between 1967 and 1985.
He will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court in London on Friday (23May14).
The acclaimed performer had just cancelled touring due to a battle with cancer.
Many ticket-holders couldn't get into the O2 Arena show on Tuesday night (September 19th) because they didn't bring photo ID to match their booking.
