It would seem to be a long leap from playing Harry Potter to playing beat poet Allen Ginsberg, but 23-year-old Daniel Radcliffe suggests it's all in a day's work. Radcliffe told MTV News that he was weirded out by all of the questions put to him at the Sundance Film Festival about the gay sex scenes in his latest movie, Kill Your Darlings, in which he plays Ginsberg. He said that he thought about remarking to his questioners, You know I did Equus [on the stage]? about a boy who is sexually attracted to horses. Some people are asking me questions like this is a more shocking subject, which is so strange. Not many years ago, actors would have shunned being cast as a gay character, but clearly attitudes are changing, particularly for younger actors. I don't know why a gay sex scene should be any more shocking than a straight sex scene, Radcliffe said. Both of them are equally un-shocking.
