Rachel Weisz 'Terrified' By Bourne Legacy Scene

Rachel Weisz was ''b****y terrified'' filming a scene for 'The Bourne Legacy'.

The actress - who previously starred in 'The Mummy' and 'The Constant Gardener' - plays the role of Marta in the fourth instalment of the spy thriller series, which was more realistic than any other action film she has appeared in.

She said: ''Like everything else in the movie it was very realistic. It was properly scary and semi-controlled, I would say. It can't be very controlled because it's real locations, driving around Manila [The Philippines] on a motorbike. We're in real situations jumping off bridges onto moving buses. It was scary to be honest. I didn't really have to act scared as I was generally bloody terrified.''

Rachel added she had to surrender herself to co-star Jeremy Renner in the more difficult situations, but she felt safe because he is ''physically adept.''

She added: ''It was really just about surrendering to Jeremy's skills which are legion. He's very physically adept.''

Rachel - who is married to James Bond actor Daniel Craig - isn't worried about the fact the film has no relation to the novel of the same name, because the top secret storyline will blow people's minds.

She told Empire magazine: ''I think it opens things up, it's quite revelatory. You think you knew everything? You knew nothing. The people you thought were in charge, they were just pawns. I think that's tremendously interesting and exciting.''
