The David Mamet play, about a pair of lawyers asked to defend a white man accused of raping a black woman, opened in New York last December (09). The production also stars David Alan Grier and Richard Thomas.
The play has already grossed an estimated $10 million (GBP4 million), far surpassing its $2.5 million (GBP1.6 million) production costs.
And the show has been such a big hit with New York theatre fans, it's closure has been pushed back from 13 June (10) to 23 August (10).
It is not yet certain whether the current cast will remain with the show for the additional 10 weeks, reports Variety.
