Quinn's Widow Adopts Legal Battle

ZORBA THE GREEK star Quinn bought the land for $2,925 (GBP1,500), and it is now valued at $1.95 million (GBP1 million), but Greek authorities have been embroiled in a long court battle with the late star and his wife, declaring the purchase void in 1984 due to strict property regulations in the country.
Quinn's lawyer STEPHANOS STRATIS says, "The transaction was endorsed by Queen Frederica, the consort of King Paul and by the prime minister at the time."
