Quentin Tarantino - Quentin Tarantino Unintentionally Writes Roles Perfect For Jackson

The filmmaker admits he never sits down to pen material specifically for Jackson - it just seems to happen naturally.

But the Pulp Fiction icon isn't the only one Tarantino finds himself mentally casting in his screenplays - Inglourious Basterds star Christoph Waltz has become somewhat of a muse too.

He says, "I had the same problem with Sam for about a decade. It's hard not to write for these guys. They say my dialogue so well. Seven months for the year-and-a-half writing Kill Bill, Bill sounded just like Sam. They come out of my pen and I can't shut it off."

The director reveals his original vision for new slave western Django Unchained never featured a crazy dentist, but he found himself writing one in that was ideal for Waltz.

He explains, "I've wanted to do this story for a long time. There was never a German bounty hunter dentist in the story. I sat down and the opening scene just ran out of the pen like an antenna to God."

Jackson has worked with Tarantino five times to date, starring in Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill: Volume 2, Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained.
