The 'Chicago' actress will star in and executively produce the indie thriller - about a group of people who are brought together following a number of copycat murders - and has Peter Fonda and Terrence Howard also signed up to appear.
Queen Latifah, real name Dana Elaine Owens, appears as a character named Nicole in the movie, and while working as a relay operator for a hearing-impaired phone service she befriends a deaf child called Kyle who has a fascination with the macabre.
His interest leads him to a website entitled The House of Bodies run out of the home of a former serial killer (Fonda) who is now on death row.
However things take a turn for the worse when murders begin and he and a detective try to save the life of one of the girls who works for the site.
