'Push Girls' To Give Close-up Look At Wheelchair-bound Women
There's a new reality series, revolving around a group of beautiful women, set to light the ratings ablaze, however it is not your Kardashian-style series. All paralyzed through injury or illness, TIPHANY ADAMS, 28, and her three best friends - MIA SCHAIKEWITZ, 33, AUTI ANGEL, 42, and ANGELA ROCKWOOD, 36 - are shown navigating everyday challenges of all sizes, from putting on makeup to starting a family in the upcoming series Push Girls.
The new series gives an unprecedented look at the lives of a group of disabled women, in what is either a new high or new low for reality TV. The show will grant nearly unlimited access into the lives of the show's stars, as it looks to show the usually blanketed world of disabled women from the most intimate of angles.
One of the series' most prominent stories will revolve around Auti Angel and her drive to become pregnant with her husband. She will allow the cameras to eavesdrop on her private conversations with her husband about having a baby as well as giving the opinion of both Angel and her husband.
The new show will premiere on June 4, 2012 on the Sundance Channel in America, hoping to draw in a broad and eclectic mix of viewers.
