Pulp - Pulp Thrill Fans With Surprise Festival Show

British band Pulp played a surprise slot at Glastonbury festival on Saturday (25Jun11), the fourth time they have performed at the event.
The Common People hitmakers were unveiled as special guests at the three-day festival's Park Stage on Saturday evening, and they played a set packed with hits from their 1990s heyday, including Do You Remember the First Time?, Disco 2000, and Sorted for E's & Wizz.
The band has previously appeared on the Glastonbury bill in 1994, 1995 and 1998, and frontman Jarvis Cocker told the crowd he hopes to return for a fifth performance in the future.
He said, "Thanks Glastonbury, obviously it's been a very important place for us. When we played in '95 things took off for us and we went in a strange orbit around the earth, and now we're back home in one piece... This is our fourth Glastonbury, who knows, it would be nice to do five."
