Publishers Claim To Have 'Up To 200' Topless Photos Of Kate Middleton
As the invasion of Royal privacy continues, it has emerged that the Italian magazine Chi, which is planning on publishing further topless photos of Kate Middleton, has a surplus of around 200 photos of the future Queen taken whilst she and Prince William were on Holiday at a French chateau.
The magazine plans to use a quarter of the photos at its disposal, when it will publish 50 of them in a 26-page special edition that comes out tomorrow (September 17th). This follows on from the Irish paper Irish Daily Star and the French Closer magazine, who was first to publish the photos.
The Irish paper, which is co-run by media mogul Richard Desmond's company Northern & Shell, has reacted furiously to the news that one of his papers published the photos, which he insists they did without his knowledge, and has vowed to shut the newspaper down. However, the editor of the paper has shown not nearly as much remorse, stating that Catherine is being treated the same way any other celebrity would in the same situation, adding "she's not the future Queen of Ireland."
Likewise, Chi editor Alfonso Signorini, has defended the publication and vowed to go ahead with the proposed spread, insisting that he is not expecting any legal action regardless of whatever statements the Royals have released.
