Professor Green - Professor Green Axes Irish Show
18 March 2013British rapper Professor Green made a wasted journey to an airport on Sunday (17Mar13) as his St. Patrick's Day gig in Ireland that night was axed shortly before he was due to fly out from London.
The hip-hop star was already en route to his show at the Fairways Hotel in Dundalk when he found out the gig had been called off due to "unforeseen circumstances", and he expressed his disappointment to fans in a series of posts on Twitter.com.
He writes, "All of a sudden tonight's gig is being rescheduled... Catch me back in Ireland another time then... Not my fault, I've wasted my Sunday coming to Heathrow (airport) for absolutely nothing. B**ls."
A statement posted on the venue's website reads, "Due to unforeseen circumstances, Professor Green will not be performing at The Fairways Complex on the 17th March. The venue apologise for any inconvenience caused. Refunds are to be issued to all who purchased tickets online and via hotel reception now."
