Producer Sean Garrett Sued Over Credit Card Debt
The producer, who has scored hits with artists like Usher, Beyonce and Nicki Minaj, has reportedly racked up debts of more than $108,000 (£67,500) - even though he was only given a credit limit of $55,000 (£34,375), according to Tmz.com.
Garrett has yet to comment on the lawsuit but it's not the first time he has encountered financial difficulty - earlier this year (12), it emerged the musician owed more than $730,000 (£456,250) in unpaid taxes from profits made in 2006 and 2007. Court officials in Georgia subsequently ruled his future earnings from Broadcast Music International (Bmi), the body which collects royalties for artists, would be paid straight to America's Internal Revenue Service (Irs) officials until his invoice was paid off.
