Prince Harry Flees Facebook After Vegas Pictures Scandal
According to Now Magazine, Prince Harry has regularly used the social networking site for around 4 years under the pseudonym Spike Wells, though he's now been advised to close the page. The account was never confirmed to be Harry's, though the mysterious user had high privacy settings and around 400 friends, some of whom were Harry's closest friends. 'Spike' - said to be Harry's nickname - closed the account last week after naked pictures of the Royal were posted on a U.S. website following a holiday in Las Vegas. A source close to Harry confirmed that the Facebook page was his, saying, "Because of all the Vegas drama he's frozen his account. No more Facebook for Harry for a while. He'll probably come back online in the future, but, for now, he's been advised to go offline. It's best that he keeps a low profile for the moment".
Prince Harry's Vegas pictures have caused a storm both in the U.S and the UK with a debate about media ethics currently in full flow. He's now back in Britain and will resume military duties after facing head of the Army General Sir Peter Wall in an interview about the scandal.
