It seems as though Prince Harry and Prince William have been inspired by goings-on at the London Olympics, taking a break from the event to get sporty themselves. The brothers have been active ambassadors for the London 2012 games, and demonstrated their own competitive sides in a charity polo march in the Cotswolds on Sunday (August 12, 2012).
The annual match was organized to raise money for three of the charities that the Princes' are associated with, Centrepoint, Wellchild and Dolen Cymru. The pair cheekily had the match brought forward by half an hour so that they would not miss Usain Bolt going for gold in the 100m final, which he duly won.
According to Marie Claire magazine, the royal duo were offered a helicopter trip back to London, but they declined, insisting that they would drive themselves back to the Olympic Park instead. The royals have certainly been hit by Olympic fever over the past week or so, and Prince William and Kate Middleton were seen kissing and cuddling while cheering on Team GB's male cyclists in the velodrome last week, just hours after being spotted at Wimbledon for the tennis.
Harry and William are known to be accomplished polo players, and the latter was spotted playing in the Gloucestershire countryside in June, accompanied by his wife Kate and their dog Lupo.
