The adorable son of Prince William and Duchess Catherine is about to have his first birthday on Tuesday (22.07.13) and to celebrate the royal family have shared a first official photograph of him taking some steps.
The photo was released on the official twitter feed of Clarence House, and accompanied by a caption which read: ''Look who's walking! Here's our little Prince ahead of his 1st birthday on 22nd July #HappyBirthdayPrinceGeorge''
The picture was taken earlier this month at the Natural History Museum in London by photographer John Stillwell.
He told People magazine: ''He's quick on his feet. He was walking towards me - I was kneeling down to take the picture and he was on top of me as soon as he started walking. He was very quick. He looked really steady on his feet.''
In the picture George is wearing a pair of light blue dungarees and appears to have had his very fair hair combed into a parting.
