Primal Scream - Primal Scream Name Replacement Bassist

Scottish rockers Primal Scream have found a replacement for their former bassist Mani, 10 months after his departure.

The guitarist played his final show with the Movin' on Up hitmakers in Edinburgh on New Year's Eve (31Dec12) and stepped down so he could rejoin his old band, the reunited Stone Roses, who embarked on a world tour earlier this year (12).

Primal Scream, fronted by Bobby Gillespie, continued to perform live with My Bloody Valentine's Debbie Googe as a stand-in, but they have now settled on a more permanent fixture in musician Simone Butler, reports Nme.com.
