British reality TV star Katie Price has been questioned by police after she was embroiled in an argument over a parking space.
The model - also known as Jordan - and her husband Alex Reid are said to have been confronted by an elderly couple at a retail park in Hove, England on Friday afternoon (02Apr10) after they parked in a space reserved for disabled customers outside a Comet electrical store.
Price, who has a disabled son, and Reid, are alleged to have become involved in a vicious argument after the disagreement escalated, and police were called to the scene to investigate.
A representative for Sussex Police reveals all four parties were questioned, but no arrests were made. The rep says, "Sussex Police attended the Goldstone Retail Park in Hove at around 1.30pm on Good Friday afternoon following reports of an argument between two men.
"It would appear that a dispute had arisen over the occupation of a disabled parking bay and also involved the partner of one of the men and the wife of the other."
An employee at the Comet store adds, "Katie has the right to park in the disabled spot which is right outside the store. But the other couple became extremely agitated because they thought they should have the use of that parking bay and started kicking off at Katie and Alex over what a disgrace they were."
