Gabourey Sidibe - Precious Star Sidibe Mocked Online

Oscar-tipped PRECIOUS star GABOUREY SIDIBE is boycotting the internet after finding hurtful comments about her size online.

The actress was plucked from obscurity to star as troubled teen Precious in the highly-acclaimed new movie.

Harlem, New York-native Sidibe is enjoying the exposure her sudden fame has afforded her - but she insists there are negative side effects.

The star tells Interview magazine, "I try to stay off the internet, just because people hurt my feelings sometimes. My audition tape ended up on YouTube, and, like 40,000 people have seen it, and a lot of people have commented that I'm an incredible actress. But other opinions weren't so nice, physically or whatever."
