Pamela Anderson - Politician Turns Down Pamela Anderson Date

The Baywatch star wrote a letter to Christine Quinn, Speaker of the New York City Council, asking the politician to accompany her to a campaign gala in the Big Apple on Tuesday (23Oct12) to hear proposals to replace Central Park's famous horse-drawn carriages with classic cars.

However, Quinn has now written back to Anderson and revealed she doesn't have time to be her date.

In the letter, obtained by New York Post gossip column Page Six, she writes, "Unfortunately, due to prior commitments, I won't be able to join you... I know you care very deeply about the safety and well-being of these horses... the NYC Council and I do, too."
