Police Officers Were Called To A Taping Of U.s. Talk Show Dr. Phil On Tuesday (14oct15) Over Concerns For A Guest's Mental Health.
The female guest was complaining to Dr. Phil MCGraw that her children had been taken away due to her criminal past, and members of the audience began heckling her, causing her to start behaving strangely.
Producers of the show feared she might harm herself, and they called officials at the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), who sent in their mental health evaluation team.
They determined the woman did not pose a threat to herself and she was allowed to leave the studio on her own, according to TMZ.com.
