Police in Ohio arrested a 37-year-old man on Saturday (04Aug12) after he attempted to take a rucksack full of weapons and ammunition into a cinema for a late night screening of The Dark Knight Rises.
The manager of the Cleveland-area theatre alerted an off-duty cop working security at the cinema to the suspicious filmgoer.
Police were then called when the guard discovered a handgun, ammunition clips, and three knives in his bag.
Scott Smith, who does not have a permit to carry a concealed weapon, was arrested without incident, reports Tmz.com.
Cinema bosses at venues screening The Dark Knight Rises have been on alert ever since James Holmes allegedly shot and killed 12 film fans after opening fire in a Colorado cinema last month (Jul12).
The album is the first in history to chart without selling a single copy.
Earlier this month a twitter campaign asking Disney to make Elsa their first LGBT princess in the ‘Frozen’ sequel went viral.
