Pixar has announced details of two new projects lined up for the big screen in 2013 and 2014.
The Walt Disney Company - which has been responsible for animated movies 'Toy Story', 'Finding Nemo' and 'Cars' - announced the films about dinosaurs and the human brain at its D23 convention in Anaheim, California, on Saturday (20.08.11).
The "hilarious" first project - which will be directed by 'A Bug's Life' story artist Bob Peterson and produced by John Walker - will focus on a world where dinosaurs still exist.
Disney said: "What if that life-changing asteroid missed Earth? The hilarious tale depicts a world where dinosaurs never became extinct."
The motion picture - which is set to be released on November 27, 2013 - is yet to have a name and is being referred to as 'The Untitled Pixar Movie About Dinosaurs'.
'Monsters Inc' director Pete Docter will be at the helm for another future Pixar project, which he has described as a comic look at how our brains work.
Jonas Rivera is being lined up to produce the movie, which is currently known as 'The Untitled Pixar Movie That Takes You Inside The Mind' and is set to arrive on May 30, 2014.
The tagline explains: "Pixar takes audiences on incredible journeys into extraordinary worlds: from the darkest depths of the ocean to the top of the Tepui mountains in South America; from the fictional metropolis of Monstropolis to a futuristic fantasy of outer space.
"The inventive new film will take you to a place that everyone knows, but no one has ever seen: the world inside the human mind."
