Pitt's Moneyball On Again
The Billy Beane biopic was scheduled to go before cameras at the end of last month (Jun09) but filming was halted after studio executives at Columbia Pictures reportedly fell out with writer/director Steven Soderbergh over his revamped script.
Soderbergh has since walked away from the project, according to reports, and Sorkin has stepped in.
Pitt will play Oakland A's manager Beane in the film.
A new director has not been named.
