Pitt And Jolie To Make Humanitarian Drama

by | 23 October 2007

ANGELINA JOLIE and BRAD PITT are set to team up to produce a drama series for a US cable network.

The powerful Hollywood pair are reportedly going to act as executive producers on a drama about a group of aid workers working in war zones alongside SCOTT BURNS, who produced AL GORE'S climate change documentary THE INCONVENIENT TRUTH.

Jolie, who is a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Refugee Agency, announced in 2006 that the couple had founded the Jolie/Pitt Foundation which made initial donations of $1 million (£500,000) to both Global Action for Children and Doctors Without Borders.

Since 2001, Jolie has visited a number of disaster-stricken areas in her role for the UN.

The couple have four children together, three adopted; six-year-old Maddox, Zahara, aged two, Pax, three, and a biological daughter called Shiloh who is 15-months.

The 32-year-old actress has described Pitt as "the best father one could wish for".
