Pistol Jones Quits Radio Show
Former SEX PISTOLS star STEVE JONES has quit his cult Los Angeles radio show hours after network bosses at Indie 103.1 announced they were pulling the plug on FM broadcasts.
The rocker's daily Jonesy's Jukebox segment spent five years as the station's flagship radio show, but the ex-Pistol has chosen to leave 103.1 as bosses make the move to become an internet-only venture.
In a statement to WENN, Jones says, "I want to thank everybody for listening to the show and supporting the station.
"It was an experience I truly enjoyed and the support I got from my fans and artists who came on the show was just incredible. Id like to think we broke some rules and that everyone had a bloody good time. Thanks for listening."
Jones plans to keep the Jonesy's Jukebox show title and look for new "opportunities".
