Pirates Still Sailing The High Seas On Top Of The Us Box Office

Johnny Depp's record-breaking Pirates Of The Caribbean sequel is still afloat at the top of the US box office for a third week, plundering efforts from a string of new releases.
DEAD MAN'S CHEST hauled in a treasure trove of $35 million (GBP19.4 million) in its third weekend on release to take its three-week booty to a staggering $321.7 million (GBP178.7 million) in America alone.
Animated kids horror movie MONSTER HOUSE debuted at number two with an impressive $23 million (GBP12.8 million) opening weekend take, while M NIGHT SHYAMALAN's spooky LADY IN THE WATER entered the new box office list at number three with a strong $18.2 (GBP10.1 million).
Cult movie-maker Kevin Smith's much-anticipated Clerks sequel netted $9.6 million (GBP5.3 million) to come in sixth, while Uma Thurman's comedy stint as MY SUPER EX-GIRLFRIEND debuted at seven with a disappointing $8.7 million (GBP4.8 million).

When Johnny Depp made the first of POTC the Disney Studio didn't know what to think the way Johnny Depp look & act, but after he show them to trust to him you know what to do,but they say ok not bad so they kept him and the audience love it and when POTC2 coming out everybody went wild couldn't wait for it to come out and The Red Carpet was 2 miles long. The Pirates of the Caribbean sold out and it had 4 screens and I think the third will go sailing high than the second one.
