Pippa Middleton has bagged a new job as a columnist for Waitrose Kitchen magazine despite the disastrous sales of her first book 'Celebrate!'

The sister of the Duchess of Cambridge has bounced back after much mockery for her party planner book 'Celebrate!' Despite being paid a massive sum of £400,000 advance for the book, it was the subject of many jokes for its over-simplified descriptions of drink making and party decorations. A mock Twitter account called @Pippatips reached over 37,000 followers with its daft suggestions such as, most recently, 'cook up something nice to eat on a Friday night with minimal fuss by ordering a takeaway' and the rather straightforward 'the Pope is catholic'. However, she is definitely not ready to give up yet and will pen a monthly column in the Waitrose Kitchen magazine called 'Pippa's Friday Night Feasts' (possibly not offering advice about ordering takeaways, but you never know).

Pippa said of her new job, 'I'm delighted to be writing for Waitrose Kitchen, a magazine that's always been a source of inspiration to me, for its extensive spectrum of food and beautiful style' and she adds that it 'will be an exciting opportunity to share my own passion and enthusiasm for food and entertaining'. Pippa Middleton
