Pinkett Smith Opens Up About Family Drug Problems

Actress Jada Pinkett Smith has never been tempted to take drugs - after witnessing first hand the effects substance abuse had on her loved ones.

The Matrix Reloaded star, who is married to superstar Will Smith, grew up watching close family members struggle with drug addictions.

And the star believes witnessing the daily battles they faced has shaped her life - because she has never been tempted to dabble in illegal substances.

She says, "I saw my aunt and mother go through addiction, and how they went in and out of rehab. It affected me a lot."
