Pink has announced her new album 'The Truth About Love'.

The 'So What' singer posted a video yesterday (04.07.12) in which she gives the title of her sixth record and its release date, September 18.

In the video she wears a see through white top with black tape over her nipples, and giggles through the announcement.

She tells fans: ''I want to talk to you about something really important. What am I supposed to say? Hey guess what?'

''My new album is coming out on, I believe, September 18 and it's called 'The Truth About Love.'''

Pink's last album was 2008's 'Funhouse', after promoting which she took time off to concentrate on being a mother to daughter Willow, born in June last year.

Expanding on how the album will sound, she told Australian TV's 'Today Show': ''I'm excited. I think the songs are elevated and smart and fun.

''The motivation for this album is love and all of the different shades of it - dark, light, happy, sad, what love can motivate you to do, just all of it. Just exploring how much it can hurt and how much it can feel good. It's not cheesy.''

The album will be preceded by a single, '[Blow Me (One Last Kiss)' which is set for release on Monday (09.07.12).
