Petra Ecclestone - Petra Ecclestone Reveals $125 Million Dream House
Petra Ecclestone, the 22-year-old heiress who is reportedly buying Candy Spelling's Los Angeles mansion, originally wanted to make an offer for a $125 million estate just streets away, reports Tmz.com. Petra Ecclestone's first choice of home was a property in Holmby Hills property named 'Fleur de Lys' - regarded as one of the most luxurious homes on the planet.
Sources close to Ecclestone insist the clothing designer "had her heart set" on the 45,000 square foot property that boasts 12 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms and a 50-seater home theatre. 'Fleur de Lys' also comes equipped with a 4,000 bottle wine room, massage room, beauty salon, a 70-foot swimming pool, and a ballroom that can accommodate 650 people. The home, which was built by radio mogul David Saperstein, has been on the market for several years. Despite her love for the property, Ecclestone has reportedly opted to buy Spelling's 57,000 square-foot mansion 'The Manor', which sits on nearly five acres of land. The home features a bowling alley, beauty salon and parking for 100 cars.
Petra Ecclestone, the daughter of Formula One commercial boss Bernie Ecclestone, also has a six-story house in London's exclusive Chelsea neighbourhood. She is set to marry the entrepreneur James Stunt in August, after which she will be splitting her time between Los Angeles and London.
