Peter Frampton - Peter Frampton Becomes The Latest Star To Sue For Digital Royalties

Rocker Peter Frampton is suing bosses at A&M Records for unpaid royalties.
The Show Me The Way singer claims he's owed a small fortune from the digital sales of his songs and he's alleging breach of contract and unfair competition in legal papers filed by his attorney Richard Busch, who previously represented Eminem and The Knack's Bruce Gary in similar cases.
The lawyer helped Eminem win a 2010 appeals court decision against Universal and Aftermath Records, which landed him a 50 per cent deal on all digital sales of his tracks.
Frampton's new suit is reportedly similar to that of the rapper's and Busch expects a similar outcome.
And he admits there could be more artists coming forward with suits to boost their digital sales deals.
He tells The Tennessean newspaper, "We are being contacted by artists frequently, and evaluate on a case-by-case basis."
