PERLA FERRAR and rocker husband SLASH are to divorce, reports British newspaper The Daily Mail. The former GUNS N ROSES lead guitarist has been married to Ferrar since October 2001, and the couple have two sons together, LONDON EMILIO, and CASH ANTHONY.

SLASH, real name SAUL HUDSON, filled in the legal documents at the L.A County Superior Court, and cited 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for the split - the date of the couple's separation was listed as July 15th 2010. It is reported that the musician is seeking joint custody of his sons.

His divorce from Ferrar is now the guitarist's second divorce - he split from actress RENNE SURAN in 1997, after being married for five years. After growing up in Stoke-on-Trent, Slash joined GUNS N ROSES in 1985, and went on to have a number of hits, including 'Sweet Child O Mine', 'Paradise City', 'Welcome to the Jungle', and 'November Rain'. He has been widely acclaimed for his talents as a guitarist, and in 2009 Time Magazine named him 2nd in a list of the 10 greatest electric guitar players of all time. After leaving the group in 1996, he joined VELVET REVOLVER, before concentrating his efforts on touring as SLASH AND FRIENDS.
