Pearl Jam's landmark debut Ten has become the 22nd album since 1991 to reach 10 million sales in the U.S.

The 1991 release is now the 15th bestselling album of the SoundScan era, which began in 1991.

Metallica's self-titled album from the same year is the best-selling U.S. album of the past 22 years - it has sold 15.86 million copies.

Shania Twain's Come On Over is in second place, while Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill is third.
