Pearl Jam Celebrate 20th Birthday
Pearl Jam have celebrated their 20th birthday with a sold-out gig in Canada.
The 'Jeremy' rockers played a 150-minute greatest hits set at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, which ended with Neil Young collaborating with the band for a version of 'Rockin' In The Free World' after he performed a 13-minute guitar solo.
Pearl Jam opened the 26-track gig with the group's 'Long Road' followed by 'Do The Evolution' and 'Once' and they concluded their 80-minute main set with 'Porch'.
The band were also in Toronto for the premiere of their documentary 'Pearl Jam Twenty' to celebrate their 20th anniversary - and lead vocalist Eddie Vedder told the crowd their release will allow the group to "move on to the next 20 years with a clean slate".
But a rumoured appearance by Soundgarden's Chris Cornell - who joined Pearl Jam for their set at Wisconsin's Alpine Valley Music Theater earlier this month - and U2's Bono never came to fruition.
