Peaches - Peaches To Record Free Pussy Riot Protest Song

Cult singer/songwriter Peaches is releasing a song and video to raise awareness about the plight of imprisoned Russian punks Pussy Riot.
Fellow singer Madonna and The Who star Pete Townshend have offered their support to feminist rockers Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Maria Alekhina and Yekaterina Samutsevich, who are currently on trial, facing up to seven years behind bars, after they went public with their opposition to Russian President Vladimir Putin by playing their anthem Holy S**t at Moscow's Christ The Saviour Cathedral in February (12), and now Peaches is rush-releasing a new track, which she hopes to have recorded and filmed a video for by the end of the week.
Sources claim the alt-rock star will film the video on Wednesday (08Aug12) at Berlin's Glory Whole cafe in Germany, and fans are invited to turn up and show their support.
The promo will hit the Internet next week (beg13Aug12).
