Rock veteran Paul Weller took to the stage in London on Monday night (25Mar13) to conclude a week of charity gigs organised by fellow British musician Noel Gallagher.

The former The Jam star headlined the last of the Teenage Cancer Trust gigs, which Gallagher stepped up to curate this year (13) as a favour to regular organiser Roger Daltrey.

Weller's finale also included a set by rising rockers Palma Violets and an appearance by Gallagher, who previously performed with the rocker and Blur stars Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon at Saturday night's (23Mar13) show.

During the concert, the That's Entertainment hitmaker asked his daughter Jessie to join him onstage to perform their co-written song Dragonfly, but she declined.

However, Weller made the show a family affair by performing with his wife, Hannah Andrews, a former backing singer, on Study in Blue.

He concluded the show by telling the crowd, "What a fantastic end to a fantastic week."

The Teenage Cancer Trust shows kicked off last Tuesday (19Mar13) and featured acts including Kasabian and Primal Scream.
