British Tv star Paul O'grady has been hospitalised after suffering an angina attack.
The funnyman pulled out of his evening chat show, The Paul O'Grady Show, on Monday night (18Nov13) after falling ill and is reportedly set to undergo an operation on Tuesday (19Nov13).
The 58 year old's friend, DJ Pete Price, tells the Liverpool Echo newspaper that O'Grady sent him a text message which read, "I have had an angina attack and I will need a few days' rest.
"I am going to be out of the game for quite a while, and am going in for surgery tomorrow."
O'Grady has previously suffered heart attacks in 2002 and 2006, and he underwent an angioplasty to widen obstructed arteries.
