Paul Anka - Paul Anka Slams Rude Jay-z

Veteran entertainer Paul Anka offered Jay Z the chance to record a rap for a reworked version of his Michael Jackson collaboration, but claims the hip-hop star deliberately dodged his calls.

Anka wrote Jackson's posthumous 2009 single, This Is It, with the singer in the 1980s under the title I Never Heard and he has included it on his new Duets album.

The veteran star has now revealed he reached out to Jay Z, who previously sampled the lyrics of Anka's hit My Way, to offer him a part on a reworking of the Jackson song, but Anka alleges the Big Pimpin' hitmaker refused to talk to him.

He tells Tmz.com, "I called up Jay Z because he did a track on My Way... I wanted to put him in on a rap with Michael Jackson. I called him up. But Jay Z has totally blown me off. He won't answer my calls. He's inappropriate in his behaviour. I love his wife (Beyonce), I think she's great. But Jay Z wouldn't return the calls."
