Paris Jackson Dismisses Album Impostor Story

Michael_jackson">Michael Jackson's daughter Paris has addressed reports suggesting a mimic was drafted in to sing tracks on her father's posthumous album, Michael, urging fans not to believe what they read in the media.

Tmz.com reported Paris had told a friend the album was recorded by an impostor during an alleged video chat recorded in 2010 - a year after the King of Pop's untimely death.

The website reportedly obtained a clip from the chat, in which Paris played the song Hold My Hand and when asked by her friend why the tune doesn't sound like her father, she revealed, "It's not him... the whole album isn't even him!! Go online... go on YouTube and look up Jason Malachi. That's him!! I should know if it's him (Jackson) or not because he would sing to me all the time."

However, Paris took to Twitter.com on Wednesday to set the record straight and dismiss the story.

She wrote, "People should know by now not to believe the media when it comes down to Tmz talking about my family. Hold My Had (sic) IS my dad actually singing."

77lotusflower you are so wrong. If you think reading the cover carefully has revealed to your that MJ did not sing all the songs on it, then your read it wrong. Don't buy into the controversy over the album. It's a great album, and it IS Michael on all the tracks.

I like the album Michael now that I have it. The music is great. After reading the CD cover carefully, I realised that not all of the songs were sung by MJ himself, that many songs were written by MJ but not recorded by him. Once I knew this, I was no longer concerned about the uproar. It's very obvious which songs have MJ's voice and which don't, and the MJ mimic, while doing a good job, just doesn't cut it. It's unfortunate that Sony isn't releasing stuff which we all heard there was. Where is it? I want to hear MJ singing as well as recordings of his music sung by others.

tmz intentionally did this story to confused the public. let me clear something, it is not the whole ALBUM that the tabloid trash site tmz was talking about that has fake voice, tmz said HOLD MY HAND, so Paris answered this through her tweet, she said "HOLD MY HAND is his dad actually singing". OK!Here's the thing, actually there is no problem with the song HOLD MY HAND, because it's clearly a Michael Jackson voice, but.., BUT.., there are 3 or 4 tracks in the album "Michael" that aren't michael's voice. Meaning, the album has tracks which are authentic, hold my hand is one of them, and there are tracks that are FAKE voice, not mike's voice! the fans protested and sent sony a letter asking them to exclude those Questionable tracks, and change it with other unreleased tracks that has authentic MJ's voice, but SONY didn't listen, they continue to released it, and when the album didnt sell well, they llet the mainstraeam media once again embarrassed MJ's name by reporting that the album was FLOP! this album is not MJ's LP, this is SONY'S LP&worked, not mj's. the album is a FRAUD!

Michael's Guard...     (116)

This story is missing some very key information. After Paris tweeted about the TMZ story she was asked the following question by @StopSony: @parisjackson But "Monster," "Keep Your Head Up" and "Breaking News" are clearly not. And moments later Paris responded "yes" She admitted that she believes the three Cascio tracks that were included on the "Michael" album are fake and they ARE. You won't see her reply on Twitter now because unfortunately it has been deleted. Someone forced her to delete that tweet. Possibly Michael's estate or Sony. If you go to @StopSony's Twitter he posted several screen caps of her reply to his question and I assure you those are real because I saw her reply to his tweet before she deleted it.
