Paris Hilton doesn't like partying in Los Angeles.

The hotel heiress - who was once famed for her love of the Hollywood club scene - says she no longer enjoys socialising in her home city because it's so "brutal".

Speaking about a recent night out, Paris wrote on her Twitter page: "On my way home. LA is not what it used to be. Brutal. Can't wait to get in bed."

However, just hours before her disastrous night out, the 28-year-old blonde had been looking forward to visiting some of her favourite venues.

She said: Getting ready to go to dinner and then out. Haven't been out to LA clubs in so long. Should be fun :)"

Although her night wasn't great, Paris had enjoyed her day in Los Angeles, relaxing by her swimming pool.

She said: "Just had a delicious BBQ, now laying out by the pool. So nice out today. :)"
