Paradis Shuns Red Carpet
Johnny Depp often has to search for a date for his film premieres - because partner Vanessa Paradis hates the red carpet.
The singer/actress admits she feels uncomfortable at glitzy showbiz events and does everything to avoid them.
She says, "The red carpet is not something I really know how to work. It intimidates me. I feel very tiny.
"I don't have famous neighbours, and if I did I'd avoid them.
"I don't live the jet-set. I'm really lucky. I do stay in wonderful hotels, houses and that's amazing but we're not very social at all. We don't go to parties or premiers."
