Pantera Fight Webmaster Over Website

The surviving members of rockers PANTERA are being sued by their former webmaster over the right to use the domain name The website was the band's official one until 2003 when they switched it to But they now want it back. According to reports, the webmaster of filed a lawsuit at Michigan Western District Court on 2 August (07) against the Pantera Partnership - which consists of Vincent Paul Abbot, Philip Hansen Anselmo, Rex Robert Brown and the estate of 'Dimebag' Darrell Abbott. The Partnership struck back a day later (3Aug07) and filed their own suit at Michigan Eastern District Court. Alfenas, who registered the site name in 1998, claims the band had the opportunity to buy it before he did, but didn't.
