Panic! Team Up With Emo Rivals

Rockers PANIC! AT THE DISCO have surprised the music world by teaming up with emo rivals FALL OUT BOY on their second album. Guitarist RYAN ROSS is a long-time pal of the DANCE DANCE band and was one of a couple of guests who were approached to work on the new record. FALL OUT BOY bassist PETE WENTZ tells MTV, "We tried to make it a bit different than the way we used guests on (debut album) FROM UNDER THE CORK TREE. "We felt like rock bands have kind of neglected the guitar solo, at least in our genre. So we had our friends (NEW FOUND GLORY guitarist) CHAD GILBERT and Ryan Ross both play guitar solos on a song. But it won't be what you expect." The band is also hoping to release a new single before the end of the year (06).
