Hayden Panettiere - Panettiere Eyeing Theatre Role

HAYDEN PANETTIERE is hoping to test out her skills on the stage - the young actress wants to land a role in a play.

The 20 year old began her career as a child star with a variety of TV roles, including a stint in Ally MCBeal and soap opera One Life to Live before making her breakthrough in sci-fi show Heroes.

Panettiere has also notched up numerous film roles including Fireflies in the Garden and an upcoming appearance in Scream 4 - but she hopes to take a break from movies soon to make her stage debut.

She tells Access Hollywood, "Right now I'm focusing mainly on, on film. I think I like to keep an open mind about everything involving this industry... There's a play I'm interested in doing, but you never know..."
